Ancient sites is a collection of ancient archaeological sites from around the world. Explore the world and learn about our history through these ancient sites. The site are easily referenced from the interactive map function, the list of continents, or from the search function.

The interactive map is what makes this app so interesting. Scroll planet earth with your fingers and zoom in close to each ancient site for a closer look. The push pins mark the spot. Once you zoom in , the clarity of course depends on the satellite image. You can also touch the push pin for each site to go to the informational screen for that site which has a photo, short narrative, and Internet link(s). You can also view photos using the built in photo gallery.
